I don't think there's been an invasion but there have been some sporadic appearances. One person got a good haul not far from where Duncan was fishing. As far as Crafty's info, I think its as good as any. There's no spot x around Napier, just the right place at the right time if you're lucky. Whirinaki was also producing so I was told. Good moon phase, good tides and time of the year were more of a factor I suspect.
