Personal preference really mate. High mount is fine just the balance of the rod is different with the reel up there which can be a issue when you are really loading the butt up but unless are bending it a lot it will make sod all difference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6p5wWoKjGk Very old footage but he hit 300 yards reel up |
