Well just home from a complete blank. Five hour drive, (2.5 hours each way) 6 hours sat watching motionless rod tips. Not even a rattle. I had hoped this new beach for me would be my new daytime (in the winter) Gurnard beach but how wrong I was. I even moved 200 yards down the beach which meant an even longer slog back over the loose shingle, but nothing. I kept thinking I should have driven to the next beach but after getting up at 12.45 am on Friday to watch England V Wales then a full day at work I was about on my limit.
