If anyone is interested in the way to extract the meat from a paddle crab using the rolling pin method, beg, steel or borrow a copy of 'Hunger for the Wild. You want Series 2, episode 5. Al Brown shows how easy this method is to use and the flesh completely separates from the shell. He also shows how to make the crab cakes mentioned in an earlier post.
