No it was sent to Russ at Blakdog tackle who contracted out to a machine shop for the new CT cross bar. Reel was in a sad sight having been in bits for some 20 years but Russ did a great job, sourcing replacement parts along with a complete service.
Ultima .33 Distance line goes on the reel today and cast with it in a couple of weeks.
The 975 is a great reel, owned one myself but sold it as it really never got to be used.
