My parents weren't interested in fishing so I tried to teach myself. Ended up always casting just the standard thump, not much distance but catch fish. Would like to improve my casting form and I know that I'm not a good teacher
The local surfcasting club here have annual casting days and my youngest boy (12 years) enjoys these and a its a great place to be amongst the experts to improve casting technique.
Check out your local club, I'm sure there will be decent folk like our club who could assist.
Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.
