Oh dear it looks like a here we go again. My reply to the someones back yard comment is so what????? When we build a hospital and there is no free land the Govt can and has acquired and purchased the land (sometimes compulsorily). It allows our community access to medical care and thats only fair. I see no distinction between this and access to Ocean beach or any beach for that matter. I know for some (a minority) this might seem high handed and arrogant. But sometimes we all have to do things we dont like, especially if this for the good of a majority of our community.
Now I'm going fishing, while I still have the right to do so.
