OK, I was not dreaming this time. Have just got home from a few hours at Bay View, arrived about 5:30 and the swell was massive, I just about turned around and went home, but decided to have a cast anyway. Threw a couple of pilly baits out, nothing happening, so changed one rod to cray. within 5 mins the rod bent over and the reel screamed, I played this monster for about 15 mins before loosing it. Damn. Cast again, rod went again, no where near as big this time, landed a lemon shortly after and weighed it in at 8.72kg Yehaa my first pin. Im still smiling. I can only imagine the size that first one must have been though, Im sure someone is going to catch a new club record soon with all these huge Lemons about.
