Like all the other invited quests, I to had an enjoyable day out. Although it must be said Kane, there did seem to be some underhand techniques used by some individuals. You obviously kept a track down your end of the beach, but the deviousness was well and truley alive down my end.

James purposely slotted himself infront of the reef where he knew that if he managed to get a red cod his inattentive behaviour and lack of interest would hopefully give the cod time to break him on the reef, ( Which One Did. )

Moving along to Steve. We all witnessed his Shark catch but he also managed to secure a solid hookup with a red cod. His normal smooth action was abandoned and he jerked the rod with spastic action and successfully pulled the hook from its firm grip in the red cod. Certainly an act against the rules.

Bruce was in breach as well. I feel that casting out three times over a 4 1/2 hours fishing time frame indicates that he had no interest in picking up the award. Once again a direct breach of the rules. And to make things worse he never changed his bait. Same bait for the whole 4 1/2 hours.

Kane I feel that some penalty must be inflicked if we are to follow this comp with the gurnie one.

A couple of suggestions for you to ponder. An automatic disadvantage of minus 2 gurnard for the next comp or should they all be exposed to the firing squad. You have witness the piece of machinary that could be used to lauch a large turd shaped mixture of Tuna/ Cray/Oil berly mix at them.

A personal preference would be the latter. Would be happy to discuss this at some later stage as a hasty decision isn't necessary.

Despite the cheating an absolute brilliant day was had. A great bunch of like minded deviants.
    Cheers Ed
