I should have called this thread "Warwick" - i hope i haven't put people off on putting their suggestions - i don't want this to be soley my ideas...debates are great after all it is for the benifit of the club...heres what i have so far... Boundaries - Waimarama - Aropaoanui (off course i will be happy to shrink these) Wiegh in - Simply when you give your name at wiegh in you simply say local and accordingly the "L" is added next to the anglers name. Rules - same as Champion Angler except you only score points for the overall catch , caught between these boundaries. You are only eligiable for the Local Angler Trophy if you FISHED THE ENTIRE WEEKEND WITHIN THOSE BOUNDARIES -once you step foot ut side the boundaries you are immediately disqualified and your points soley go torwards the Champion Angler.People that fish the Local Angler Trophy have their points ellocated to both comps.
Running this "minor" comp relys on peoples honesty - but dosen't the top comp also? I carn't see a problem with this as...you either FISHED WITHIN OR OUTSIDE THE LOCAL BOUNDARIES - simple! Again this is not set in stone so if you have any more suggestions /ideas please feel free to share them and again if its the work load i and others are more than happy to carry the burdon.
