To be honest I wouldnt drive to either Waimarama or Aropaoanui for a mornings fishing to compete as I think the boundaries are still a bit to far out. I would certainly consider Gary Kemsleys suggestion of Tangoio and Clifton as being more realistic. This is local for me, doesnt require to much effort and still puts you in with a chance on the right day.It also puts minimum stress on dealing with the Missus who wants to shop and do the garden and the kids who just want . Just my humble opinion.
