Went for a walk out to flat rock today for the first time, was pretty dissapointed, not really what I expected. I thought it might have been deeper, and there was alot of weed ridden rock, jutting out. Admitedly it was low tide, does it get much deeper over high tide? Has anyone had much luck out there? I practised my casting for a bit with a spinner, but with no joy, so packed up and headed up to Tutira, came home with 3 fat Rainbows, and am now eating fresh oven baked trout with herb crust, lime hollandaise and garlic herb potatoes. yummmmmy!
