    Fishing the straights is all about the shape of the seabed close to shore and where the right sized tuatua beds are.When you find the beds with tuatuas about 30-40mm long, stay over them... the fish WILL come.
    You could fish the Matata dump and do real well but still draw a blank at Otamarakau!!
    Murphy's carpark doesn't sound fishy at all does it..?It's not too far from Murphy's motor camp which isn't far from the old dump.
    It has it's moments too, believe it!
    Nah, it's where you are and where the fish are... if you get the both together you're into it.

    As for this weekend...? cherryblossom time!
    What may be crap weather conditions for HB could just be beaut for BOP.
