    Jase, most jokers don't know what they're missing... the camera doesn't lie.
    I'm picking if Neil does ok on his fishin mission up here some of you lot could be following him up here next year.Get in some much-needed snapper landing exercise!

    BOP snaps ain't as big (well, not usually) as the handful of HB biggies that get caught surfcasting, but boy, tonnage-wise BOP blitzes everywhere else.The odd horse (20+lb) does get caught tho, mostly it's ponies..(10-20lb)
    Anybody looking to take a BOP snapperfishing trip is advised to take time from mid-september to late Oct.
    After that time, Nov on,there's that many baby snaps about you get sick of them!Truth.But the odd biggie still lurks at that time too.
    Then it goes quiet Dec/Jan (kahawai world)and fires again Feb with some real heavyweights being taken for some obscure reason...we get the odd kingi (not many in the western bay tho) from the end of Jan for about 5-6 weeks too.

    Frosty is actually out fishing as we speak... he's txted saying he hasn't got anything yet but bite time ain't til 10.15 tonight so he's got heaps of time to improve.
    I reckon he's trying to suss hot possies for the upcoming Snapper 1000...
    If he doesn't get anything I'll let ya know and you all can razz him!
