Yeah, saw a BIG SEAL about 5km out at sea today, heading for Napier and a few Dolphins hearding up fish as the Gannets pumbled them offshore. The conditions wernt flash, with a good 2 mtrs plus of south swell and a fresh Northwester that built. We came home with a megre rationing of Terrys(Terakihi), and 1 lone Snapper, and the usual cr@p Redcod, Barracoutas, and Spineys. Got some Terrys on a Gulp Shrimp so that was neat. I think the Snapper wind is a while off yet, these Norwesters can keep blowing for the meantime tho.
