I got there about 1130am and headed up the north end to the reef. First cast resulted in a nice bluecod for my son then the missus got a gurnard then the nephew got a gurnard and finally I pulled in a pin kahawai. Saw Chad parked down the way and cruized down to fish with him (lost abit of gear to the reef!!!!!) Got there to see his longline coming in. 8 lovely carrots. Reset. Bit tough on the rods (chad got 2 kahawai) 4 carrots, 1 smoothie, a carpet shark and a 2.3kg redcod.
