Gizzy started another typical sunny day with the perfect offshore breeze for the kahawai comp... details i will for karla. no ky for me not even a nibble... until i was packing up at 1:50pm... went back down to my rod and it was off the pick umm... i wound in lifted my tip and then wham the rod went over and line started peeling.... tightened my drag a little turned and lifted the fish on the other end... I thought yeah keep the pressure on, every things holding... till about the last 10m-15m from shore... thing ping my shock leader parted 200mm below my joining knot#%%# My tip for which i know better is to always retie a new shock each and every time you go out...
