Just a metre of swell with a wee slop on it, untill the souwester blew at midnite. Showers on and off. I think the fishing was slow due to the 100km southerlies that churned the seas there on thursday pushed the fish out a little. Funny how one rod caught most of the fish, as me and dion piled the gear on my quad, we fished the cut and he caught all his fish on one rod, only get two bites on his other. I plugged away with one rod cray and one rod pilly, snaring my 4 lemons in the wee smalls. Plenty of small kahawai, and murphys law dropped a good Kahawai on my first cast. Oh well lets hope the next ones great, got that weekend off FINALLY!, shame the hams weekend has now been moved.
