I found one of those large browns and hooked him.. after a far too short a battle, had him on the bank of the river, but as I bent down to pick him up, I kept my rod straight up in order to keep the line tight, and he did a back flip, and took off in to the water, breaking my rod in two in the process and snapping my line. needless to say, I swore rather loudly a few times! Estimated it to be in 7 - 8lb range. Im pretty sure it was bigger than the 7lb I caught a couple of years ago. I will be back!
