While I dont agree with the blocking off of any beach and strongly disagree with Chad about access to beaches as being a privilege, I cannot condone personal attacks either. I found them personally embarrassing and unnecessary and hope the person behind them is prepared to make these statements direct to your father rather than hide behind a non de plume on a website. At least you have been brave enough to come forward from the shadows and put forward your point of view. At least people have some idea who to approach now for dialogue on access if that is indeed possible. Shame on Chad for not giving you enough info to catch a few more fish. But at the moment its been hard work finding snapper anywhere around here although they have appeared here and there around the reefs at Napier. I have never fished the Northern reef at Ocean but I have seen some of the fish that have come from there over the years and suggest perserverence will bring the desired results.
