Rotorua Bonanza Archived Message Posted by castabop on 31/1/2012, 11:08 am Recovering seems to be the order of the day. sunday saw hundreds at Matata for a comp beautiful weather and plenty of fish. Mark R and I fished down from Murphies in a good spot with long casts out the back seeing us catch snapper and kahawai. Not winners in the comp but nice to weigh in fish. Best fish in snapper was around the three kilo mark and same for kahawai. frosty did a good job and it was well run congrats. Mark had a podium spot untill last few minutes then disapeared into oblivian,2.5kg just was not the goods this time.
