Its easy to reach and reality is there isn't enough people around here into shore fishing to get the pressure to make it an issue in my opinion. This is a boat fishing mecca, and most spots require a boat to reach good rock spots or private access. We all know how much snapper move around, and I constantly shift around in this area. To catch decent fish it takes effort, as we all know. Most "chance it" shore fishos can't be bothered walking over the terrain or putting in the time and energy to make it happen. Its easier to jump in a boat, use a fish finder and chase the fish than it is to sit on a rock and berley the living crap of it until something shows up. That said, I hear you and agree. I didn't take the pic, but if I want to show it to people its all I have. I wonder if you could pinpoint that spot from that pic? Flick me a msg if you think you know where it is.
