Hey Snappa 28th It predicted the morning as a Booma after midday it would slow for a while then as afternoon set in it showed sign of it been good again through into the evening, with potential for avg to better than avg size fish.
As I have no info (from reports) for this day (28th) i would be keen on a report?
My calendar is not exactly for bite times down to the hour, there are many that do this, so not trying to reinvent the wheel. I am after the exact best time for say a week when the fishing is just madness. Quick run down on it. It's in Excel and is 60mb so there is a heap of info in it. It starts in 1990 an at the mo runs to 2019 but have the data to populate out to 2050. Fishing data from 1990 to 2007 is very light with only record big fish dates that i could find on the net populating it. If any of you are willing to share any info we can work something out. Would love some weigh master records. At this stage as the data is not old enough it will be a couple more years before you guys will reap the benefits of your reports, so yes the data in it is from reports in here and other NZ websites all LB I have spent well over 1000 hours on it and been working on it for the last 4 years just about everyday/night.
I started it as I could not figure out why one day was an absolute booma and the next nothing, one day only snapper the next KY?. Moving to the Naki made this even harder and still fuks me, been a boy from the north I had it to easy up there. It's solely focused on Land Based I started on Snapper, then added Big Snapper 10-15lb then Very Big Snapper, over 15lb then Kingfish am now looking at Gurnard and Trev's What i am also now trying to focus on is species and when to target them. My input timing is based on Morning, Day, Arvo, and Night, with others predicted bite times of B4 moonrise the halfs (above and below) and B4 moonset you can narrow it down in that time frame. Because I manly fish at night it's been hard to fish at the best of the best times, but as the kids get older this should change. I think there is a slight difference between east and west and yet to sus it.
Sorry I should probably put this in its own heading, let me know if you think i should move it.
