    Often when you get snagged the main line breaks at the leader knot before you have had a chance to pull very hard to get your tackle out of the snag. To give me a bit more pulling power I thought I'd try a double in my main line and then tie that to the leader. The knot I found is called the Geoff Wilson End Loop. I am using 15 lb main line and 60 lb leaders and it has worked very well for me for over four years now, the main line itself breaking often away from the leader knot when I hit a bad snag.
