In any event, I was doing a transcript and the person's name was Elaine. This reminded me of former online MSP fan Elin Rutherford, friend of the late Chris "Oh Bugger" Matthews. It's amazing that I remembered that.
Anyway, there's not many hits for Elin Rutherford I assume because it's an odd spelling of Elin. There seems to be only one person in the country with this name but it's a much younger woman.
The Elin I was looking for was a troubled woman, possibly Welsh and...that's about all I remember. She didn't seem to like me but would talk to me. It's a bit like that Oh Bugger guy except for the talking part. I don't even remember SEEING that guy in the chat room but he apparently made some comics or something that were anti-"Nigel". I didn't know about this until after he died.
Honestly, I've never seen this guy in the chatroom and knew nothing about him until after that circus funeral. To this day I don't know anything about him other than he made some anti-"Nigel" propaganda and that he died. Presumably suicide, I don't know how it happened.
Then that faggot J P Hutchinson changed the site's header to "In memory of Chris 'Oh Bugger' Matthews" or something. I was as confused then as I was now. This Oh Bugger guy was a total non-entity. When was he in the chat room? I never saw him there. I saw all the people virtually mourning him but never him.
By the way, I looked up "faggot" yesterday. We all know that it means "bundle of sticks" but that doesn't make sense, does it? Why would there be a word for a bundle of sticks.
Mystery solved. It's a measurement. So you want to buy some firewood, you'd ask for a "faggot" and you'd receive a specific quantity of firewood. There was also short faggot and long faggot if you wanted more or less firewood.
Anyway, Elin Rutherford. She may not show up in searches because she married a Muslim guy around 2001 and became one of the early militant Muslim converts in the UK. A pioneer of sorts. So she's probably cranked out a bunch of future terrorists now. Maybe she's in Syria. If she hasn't been killed by drone strikes or an honour killing, she's almost certainly wearing a burka.
Let's see what Hutchinson is doing. He's a solicitor and last time I checked he was a partner at some firm.
Yeah, he's still a partner in the same London law firm. Member of some Israel association? Hutchinson doesn't look like a Jewish name. Anyway, good for him, although his job looks boring as shit. Commercial law.
Who else...oh yeah. Elin was friends with that homosexual goth "Trin" but I can't remember his name if indeed I ever knew it.
Let's see if there's any familiar names at Forever Delayed. I really doubt it. I've never looked at this site.
Wow. People are still doing "I'm a new member" posts? That seems so 1990s. "So how does this internet thing work?" Who cares if you're a new member? Just post something interesting.
There's like nothing here. Bunch of birthday threads. Kooky holiday threads all made by the same user. "What's your favourite (whatever)?" threads.
"What's your occupation" is really depressing. There's a 55 year old woman who works three menial jobs and it still only adds up to 28 hours a week. A lot of boring admin shit. Annoying joke responses from people who are presumably unemployed. Here's a 32 year old who only works two days a week and volunteers with the elderly once a week. 31 year old call centre worker. A misguided student who says she works hard but...to what end? Just look at the jobs that await you. Bunch of civil servants but I already mentioned admin. Same thing. Geologist is the best job so far. What do you think a geolist makes? £25,000? 31 year old housekeeper. Some retail workers. 52 year old stagehand. Something different at least. 40 year old call centre worker who loves his job. 39 year old care worker for dementia patients. Fuck, that's the end of the thread.
It makes me feel better about my own life and prospects of finding a girlfriend but very depressed about the state of the UK employment market. Indeed, I think this a global phenomena.
Let me try "General Discussion". "The Depression Thread". I can see what that's popular. Mostly political threads, though. I don't care about that crap.
Now I'm in the dregs. TV/movie forum. No, I don't care about any of this.
