So anyway, i've booked to go and see Stewart Lee at Newcastle City Hall for my birthday.

I don't watch a great deal of comedy, or T.V. in general, but of what I have seen over the last few years, I would say Lee is easily the cleverest and funniest stand up.

I've got all of his DVDs, I liked TMWRNJ back in the day, and used to listen to the Fist of Fun radio series during those long nights at work. So i'm familiar enough with his work.

I'll be going on my own, naturally, but that's no biggie. And if there's a bar, it should be a really fun time.
