Almost finished that four-pack of Boylan's rootbeer I bought, btw. One left, but its enough to form a first impression of the family of rootbeer beverages: I can dig it!

I was getting on with the 'browsing' part of my five-part daily routine plan, and came across a video of someone doing a blind test of six rooted beers, including - yes - Boylan's.

Intriguing that he scored Boylan's Bottled Rootbeer a mere fifth out of the list of six. Makes me wonder how rival brands will fare, or whether he's a braindead American idiot.

I am going to be looking further into root(ed)beers in coming weeks and days, so please look out for more posts on here. Reviews, anecdotes, philosophizing, etc. (Basically, whatever takes my fancy as regards beers made from vanilla root plants laced with licorice.)
