That's pretty much the extent of the symptoms so far. Still have a sore throat. Very mild nausea. Haven't sneezed or coughed much at all. No runny nose.
Even so, I think this is building. So I cancelled work tomorrow. And I wasn't working on Tuesday anyway. So I'll see how it progresses.
I thought it could be the soup. But...how could it be? I'm not sure it's possible.
I tried the soup today. It was easy to heat up. Just took one portion size out of the pot and into the hob and heat it up. Couldn't be much easier.
It reminds me of canned soup but in a good way because it compares favourably to canned soup. So with this mindset you're thinking, "Man, this is some great canned soup" as opposed to "Man, this is a pretty lousy meal." The bar is lowered.
And I don't even know how much more expensive this was. I get about five cans out of this. Campbell's soup is about £1.00 a can. So £5.00.
The meat for this soup was about £4.50 but that's because I got the more expensive 5% fat meat. The 10% fat meat was about £2.50 and it might not much matter for soups. Plus, this Sainsbury's has ridiculously overpriced meat. So let's just say £3.00 for a pound of meat. Then the OXO cubes are almost free (not at this Sainsbury's but at most stores) and the onion and cabbage probably aren't more than £2.00 total. Oh, but then the two cans of beans and two cans of tomatoes. It probably puts it over £5.00. But it's worth it.
