So there's these two Asian women from the online dating world who I was talking to in a half-assed manner. I couldn't understand why they kept replying even though they didn't seem interested.

So I asked them both out for this weekend hoping that they'd just finally stop replying because that's how it usually works. Some people respond just in a misguided attempt to be kind but then when you ask them out they stop.

But no. They both continued replying. Still pretty disinterested, though. The Chinese woman said that she worked six days this week and wants to take Sunday off. I mean...that's fine but she wouldn't take Sunday off if a young Brad Pitt asked her out. And I suggested to the Filipina that we go to a Philippines restaurant in London and we can get the blood stew and fried pork intestines (actual menu items). She gave a weird reply asking if that's what I'm eating. So I then specifically said, give a time and we can go. She said we can go some time but didn't give available dates.

Hopefully I'll be in Ireland by the time they're available.

Did I tell the story about the nerd guy who sang Would you Like to Swing on a Star in high school during some kind of talent show or something? I couldn't believe it was happening. How on earth did he think this was a good idea? But even crazier, nobody made fun of him. Indeed, he was commended by my classmates. And these were pretty rough guys from mechanical drawing class.

I'd imagine that schools don't have mechanical drawing classes any more. Even when I took it, there wasn't and reason. I mean, we weren't all going to become architects. I don't think anybody became an architect. It's like a throwback class from the 1950s. Industrial arts. Plus, it was all done with computers even in 1996.

Let's see if I can find this guy online. Probably not. I remember trying before. Let's just get the yearbook out.

I think I found some hot girl at the time. Still lives in the same area. Got a sleeve tattoo. Otherwise, little information. Just one bad picture.

And these massage parlours look legitimate. There's pictures of the workers and I certainly wouldn't want a happy ending from most of them. Mostly women reviewing the place too.

Imagine the career day of that high school, though. You know, where they bring in alumni of the school to talk about what sort of work they're doing and inspire the kids. It would be sad as shit. At least these alumni wouldn't have to travel far to attend. Many could probably walk to the school.
