I happened to be reading the plp dot org website recently. I'm tempted to be the first person ever to comment on one of their articles. By the way, kudos to them for continuing to update so frequently even though I don't think anybody is reading the site. It must be disheartening.

But yeah, there's an article there about the Paris attacks. Well, sort of. It's really just the usual slogans bandied about. Smash this or that. Bury whomever.

The main message is to fight "anti-Muslim racism". I won't address how Islam is a religion and not a race because that's perhaps a triviality.

But yeah, it's all about opening borders, welcoming Muslims, and all this. Has PLP been infiltrated by mainstream liberal fascists? The gist of the article is the same as that found in the Guardian, New York Times, whatever. Muslims are victims. It's the religion of peace. We need more Muslims.

What part of this is communist? Communism is about ending the superstition and division and warfare caused by religion. So why on earth is PLP supporting the most backwards, insular, and violent religion of them all?

I don't think that it was always like this. I suppose when I was reading it, Muslims weren't in the news. Imagine that. A time when Muslims weren't in the news AT ALL nevermind every day, month after month, year after year. Is anyone else sick of the religion of peace? Change the channel. I want to talk about Sikhs now. Or how about Seventh Day Adventists?

But yeah, the one guy who writes for that website isn't going to win any supporters with that shit. Who's the target audience? Liberals are reading the Guardian and the New York Times. Conservatives are reading the Daily Mail and the Wall Street Journal.

They've taken progressive elements (anti-racism, anti-capitalism, et cetera) and combined them with liberal fascist elements (we love religious fanatics). I don't think that there are many confused people out there who combine these views.
