Two days without tv. I'm totally down with it. What do I miss about television anyway? Columbo tv movies from the 1970s? Who gives a shit?

What I've been listening to today is the Tom Green podcast. He had a show on MTV circa...1994. I'll be damned. I looked it up and that's exactly right.

Not sure if it was shown in the UK. It was only on for a year or two but it was big in that year or two. He'd go out and do wacky stuff. Prank videos they're called nowadays. You can check it out on Youtube.

But the podcast. It's awful but I can't stop listening. He just takes calls and talks down to the callers. Oddly compelling.

Every call is the same.

Tom: Where are you from?

Caller: [city]

Tom: [Some fact about the city]

Caller: That's right

Tom: What do you do?

Caller: [profession]

Tom: That must be fun.

Caller: Yeah.

Most of the times, he doesn't even let them ask a question.
