It seems that China really is dating on easy mode.
A surprising number of white women in Shanghai on Tinder. Some black women too. And many of the Chinese women went to university in the US or the UK. Also weird: almost all of the names are in English. And all of the profiles that I've seen are in English.
It's not as easy as I'd think, though. I mean...I got this many matches when I first moved to Glasgow.
Let's see the actual matches. Wan and Li just have a single picture each. Wan has no description, Li says "happy all day". Both are 25. Possible bots.
Yixin is also 25. Lives in Shanghai with a cat. Headhunter for IT. Enjoys backpacking, travlling, and the gym. Pary animal for the weekend. Improving her scuba diving skills. Pictures are all far away or she's wearing a scuba mask and the one close up has her with sunglasses and a bikini. Seems to have some kind of scarring, maybe. Acne scarring, perhaps.
Xiaoqian is yet another 25 year old. I search for women 18-30, by the way, but people tend to be married around 25 in China. 22 is actually the average age for marriage in China according to what I read. This woman is a director of a company. All about fun. Wild. Well-educated. Looks innocent and cute but rebel and cool. Likes to fight againt authority. Fuxk the regulations. Why so serious? Like to make everything fun. Laugh at everything and go for everything she wants. Super smart. Funny. Creative. Work as tv show director. Music shows, talent shows, reality shows. Outgoing and like to have fun. Huge reality tv fan. French football team fan. Arsenal fan. Love music. Hip hop. EDM. R and B. Country music. Pictures show a cute woman, sometimes wearing glasses, with a huge tattoo on her back/neck.
Hanning is 22. Definitely real back she has an Instagram. Loves music. Learning to mix tracks. Starter DJ. Played violin for 10 years. Big jumps. Promoting also organising some coolest music events in SH. Crazy into the beats. Then a list of what music genres she likes (all of them). If you have similar music tastes, add her to WeChat. Pictures show manufactured angst, she's sometimes as a DJ booth, and instead of the "V" sign that's popular in Asia, she gives the middle finger to the viewer. Some bikini pictures in her Instagram and also just pictures of her torso but she's Chinese so the boobs are nothing to get excited over.
Anyway, it's interesting. I think I'm going to virtually travel to other parts of the globe and see what the ladies on Tinder are like.
