Pretty cold, though. I wore my heavy jacket for the first time this year. By "heavy" I mean, "slightly thicker than my other coat."
It's colder in Glasgow than in London. It has to be. I would go a few months without wearing a t-shirt under my work shirt in London but didn't do that at all while in Glasgow. And I'd also open my windows in London during the summer when it got too hot but never did that in Glasgow.
So the summers are clearly more mild. But are the winters also colder? I guess so. It's nothing dangerous like one finds in Helsinki or Chicago or Rhode Island but...is it colder than London? I think so.
Was I ever cold in London? I wore coats in the winter. I used the heating. It must have been cold.
I was shivering today, though. Don't recall doing that in London. But this was when I was outside waiting for the ferry. I didn't even have gloves on so it couldn't have been that bad. And I did wear gloves in London.
Anyway, my lady friend says she's getting an operation. She wouldn't tell me what it is, though. Maybe she's getting breast implants. She has mentioned implants a few times in the past. I would hope that she doesn't do that, though. Not with the amount of money that she would be likely to spend, anyway. They'd look awful.
You look at porn stars. Even popular porn stars. So many of them have bad breast implants. You can see the ripples and it just looks bad.
So my lady friend using a coupon for breast implants from some guy who graduated bottom of his class would be unlikely to get good results.
Maybe it's something to do with her sinuses. She used to eat REALLY slowly because there was some problem with her breathing. I can't describe it. Her nose was always stuffed up, I guess. I'd tell her to go to the doctor because you're not supposed to live like this and she'd say, "No, no. It's just an allergy" like that explains anything. Even if it is an allergy, get that sorted out so that you can finish a meal within 90 minutes.
Anyway, she says she's going to come visit this Christmas.
