Personally, I support it but that's not the "liberal" position. Actually, no need for quotes. It's not the liberal position. But it is the progressive position.
Pictures of cats. Pictures of his son. UFC stuff. A video of Stunning Steve Austin yelling at Donald Trump.
Do you remember the Ringmaster? I can't say that I do. It was Austin's gimmick between Stunning and Stone Cold from when he first joined the WWF.
I was watching some videos on Youtube. He hated the gimmick and it's genuinely accepted as a bad gimmick but I liked it from what I saw. He's Ringmaster because he's a master of the wrestling ring. Nothing to do with the circus. And he was Ted Dibiase's protege. Dibiase brought him out to wreak his vengeance on the WWF since he wasn't able to wrestle any more (I guess).
And yeah, Austin was touted as a great grappler, which I guess he was before he got injured and became the more brawling Stone Cold. To be honest, I can't tell the difference. Whether we're talking Bret Hart or the Bastion Booger, they both look about equally good to me. I'm just not a student of wrestling, perhaps.
What really mystifies me is how everybody says Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time. Maybe you had to see him when he was younger. By the time I was watching, he was probably in his 40s.
Back to the Ringmaster. He used Ted Dibiase's finish: the sleeper. What was it called? Something Dream. Million Dollar Dream, I think. And it was good. I liked it. Good when Dibiase did it, did when Ringmaster did it. I like the submission finishers. Something different.
Where was I? Oh, yeah. Sleepyflower. Also mentions how Toblerone changed the shape. Who cares? I've never eaten one of these things in my life.
But more importantly, why does Sleepyflower care? He's in Taiwan.
Maybe I'm misremembering but I never gave a shit about what happened in the US after I left. No, I don't think that I am misremembering because I know I got annoyed when people would ask me about the US. Dude, I'm in England. Let's talk about England.
It's just living in the past, isn't it? I'm here in the present.
People talk about American tv shows and shit. I have no idea what they're talking about. I'm not watching that. Why would I? I'm in England. I watch English tv. Or British, anyway. But let's be honest, British tv is English tv. Where are all the Scottish shows? I think Scotland has their own channel but it's probably god awful and I don't get it because I don't have a tv.
That Carol Kirkwood is Scottish, isn't she? The BBC morning weatherwoman with the big tits. But Kirkwood doesn't look like a Scottish name.
You see some compilation videos on Youtube of her just wearing normal clothes. It's obviously designed to titilate but...how? If these guys ever discover all-nude pornography, it's going to blow their minds.
Sleepyflower then. And his fondness for England. Just get over it. Focus more on the wacky Pringles flavours in Taiwan and less on shit English chocolate bars.
Also comments how in Taiwan all squirrels are brown. Yeah, fine. I mean, in the US, at least from what I saw, that's also the case. But who cares? Red squirrels, forget it. They're in England. I've only seen a few, though. And none in Scotland. I never saw any squirrels in Scotland, though. They must exist but I just never saw any. I'm not going to places with trees.
I don't even think he's working. Says that he's studying Mandarin. He also studied computers and some video game thing. What a waste of money. He's clearly not using that degree. And it's already obsolete.
So many people try to "study" their way into prosperity. "If I get this marketing degree, there will be no limit to my earning potential!".
Here's the thing, though. Employers don't give a shit about that stuff. They want somebody with experience.
It's like wrestling schools. Why do these things exist? Probably thousands of people go through these scams every year. How many end up in the WWE? The biggest school in the US, according to their website, has one guy who went to the WWE. And I didn't know who this guy was.
What happened to everyone else? If they're lucky, they got into the indies where they're making $20 a night. That's if they're lucky. Most surely just go back to their job at Target.
If you want to be a wrestler, you have to get out there, get some wrestling matches, promote yourself, send out videos, social media stunts, whatever. Lance Storm and his 12 week program is not going to make you the next Superstar Billy Graham. It's just going to make Lance Storm an extra $3000.
I look at some of these steno job advertisements. Only a few actually mention education and it always reads like cut and paste from some legislation. They want you to have a "degree" from one of these steno schools. It's a three year (or in most cases, longer) course in the US but calling it a "degree" is a real stretch. But even then, they'll say "or experience".
So you can go to one of these fly by night steno schools and pay them $10,000/year until you pass a ridiculously difficult speed test. Just doing the same drills day after day after day. Or you can get relevant experience and have them pay you. It doesn't take a genius to figure this one out.
"Yeah, but Baron...you need the degree to get the job."
Untrue. You can learn steno in your basement by yourself. You can buy the books that teach you the theory (I don't think there are pirate versions online because too little demand). The books are pretty expensive because like everything else in the industry, they know that they can charge whatever they want. So maybe $200 for a book that will tell you the theory. Memorize the theory. Practice. Then work on improving your speed. There's probably free dictations online. I don't know how many. But you can also just sit there watching tv all day and record as much as you can.
The machine is going to be $500 for a 20 year old used machine. The software is something like $2500. Maybe you can find a cheaper version. Again, no bootleg versions are available that I'm aware of. But you'd be paying for these things if you were in a school anyway. Certainly, you'd need it for your job.
So put the effort in, learn it, at home for free, then approach the companies for work. "I didn't learn at one of these scam schools but I learned in my basement and here, let me show you that I can do the job." Take a speed test for the company and you're hired. You saved at least $30,000.
And the degree is pointless. The degree is only used as proof of competency for that first job. For every subsequent job, they only want to know that you were able to do earlier jobs in a competent fashion.
In other news, went to the doctor today. Have a couple of swollen fingers. Been like that for three or four weeks. It's a food allergy. But I don't know what I ate that caused it.
I get to the doctor and he says it's not a food allergy. It's something that I came into contact with that caused an allergic reaction. "Yeah, but my lips were swollen too". "That suggests a food allergy but it could also just be that you touched your lips".
I'm telling you 100% that it's a food allergy. But he gave me some shit and maybe it will go away. I didn't want to argue with him. And he's right, swollen fingers aren't typically associated with a food allergy. A rash and shit like this are the usualy symptoms. But it is a food allergy. I'm not sticking my index finger and pinky into random allergins.
I'll have to figure it out myself. I bought BBQ pizza sauce from Dominos on Tuesday and the swelling is going down. I'm pretty sure that that stuff is safe. And then today I just bought bread, lunch meat, bacon, and Bachelor noodles.
Actually, were the Bachelor noodles a good idea? I'm thinking that maybe the pasta noodles that I had with the chili could be the culprit. A year ago, I thought it was the tomatoes that were the problem so I stopped eating pasta. But maybe it was the noodles that were the problem, not the sauce.
But the noodles are wheat, aren't they? Same as in bread. I eat a lot of sandwiches. But I've always eaten a lot of sandwiches. I don't know. Maybe the problem will just resolve itself.
