Oh man. That was a poor decision. First of all, the cooking process was slow-going because there was a mountain of this shit. I cooked the meat first but even that was a lot. Then I dumped this huge pile of saurkraut on top of it. It didn't look good. I prepared a small bowl. I ate about four forkfulls. Took a big swig of strawberry milk between each bite. I kept telling myself, "This is healthy." But finally I had to give up. Awful, awful stuff. Maybe it will be better with a reheat. If not, I'll just toss it. The sausage was like £5 and the saurkraut £1 so not a huge loss. I don't know what I was thinking. For starters, I hate chorizo. It did fry up okay, though. I didn't think it would. Secondly, I hate saurkraut. I had it once as a kid. My father used to make it once in a while. I liked the sausage but not the saurkraut. I thought that my tastes may have matured since then. But I guess not. Or maybe it's just because of the chorizo. I don't know. I took a picture of this bowl of saurkraut that I planned on posting here but it just made me nauseous so I won't bother. |
