After one minute, I considered turning it off. Two minutes in, I started this reply, just to have something to help pass the time.
Good thing I had the lyrics up. It's indecerable without them. I know that's a common problem with music but this is just poor diction as opposed to issues with the tempo or getting carried away with the music or what have you.
So anyway, I hoped that this thing would build but no. It just ends and it's crap and you're glad that it's over.
When was this released? 1994. There was surely some great music then. Let's see what Google gives us.

Jar of Flies by Alice in Chains was released. I was listening to that a couple of weeks ago. There's maybe one good song on it.
Selena released an album. Remember Selena? I doubt it. But it was big news in the US when she died. You get this a lot with little-known singers who die. For some reason, it becomes big news. She wouldn't have become some superstar. Her career would have been over by 1996 and she'd be stocking shelves in Walmart today.
I mean really, I think that all of her songs were in Spanish. Is Spanish music mainstream in the US now? I don't think so. And she wouldn't have changed that.
This page is mostly about the players in the music scene. I don't care about that. Kurt Cobain also died, okay, but what songs were released in 1994? That's all that I'm looking for.
Superunknown by Soundgarden. Yeah, I've listened to that dozens of times in the past few months. All great songs. Piss all over this Manics crap.
Vitalogy by Pearl Jam as well. Listened to that recently. Or tried to.
Parklife by Blur. This is shit. I never heard of this. No way was it released in the US.
Weezer's self-titled blue album. Not really my thing but there's some decent stuff. And again, compared to This is Yesterday, it's a masterpiece. At least I can understand what they're saying.
But yeah, even at the time, I thought "this is kind of gay" for stuff like Undone. It received extensive play on the radio, it was popular, but it's gay. And all of their songs are pretty camp. But again, you can listen to it without constantly checking the time and hoping that it ends soon.
Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. I was perusing the Guardian recently and was astonished to find an article about the Manics. A new lead on the search for Richey Edwards.

I don't want to spoil it. It's hilarious.
