I'm tempted to do something with that money. Get a new computer? The one I have is pretty old now but...still works fine. When did I get this? Four and a half years ago. I guess that's not too old for a computer. Especially when I went full blast on this. Got so much RAM that people said I was an idiot. But here we are four and a half years later and I still meet the RAM requirements for every game.
Maybe a new laptop for work? The one I have is...man, I don't know...has to be at least ten years old. Is that right? Yeah, because I bought it to start this job. So over 10 years old. It was the cheapest piece of crap on the market but...it still works. So...I don't know. I don't want to get something just for the sake of it. It's slow as shit but...it works for job purposes.
But going back to my PC, I see that I spent £1000 on it. I thought it was more. But no, I was thinking in dollars. Because $1000 doesn't get you a top of the line computer but £1000 will get you something pretty good. At least four and a half years ago it would.
I got a monitor as well with that £1000. Monitor still works too. I mean, there's really nothing...I'm not lagging in games. I have loads of free hard drive space. So...yeah, it's fine.
Clothes, I guess. There's always that. And shoes. I need new "trainers". Maybe I can just get all of this shit online. Because the reason I don't get new clothes or shoes is because I hate going shopping for clothes and shoes. So yeah. That's an idea. I know my shoe size. And my shirt size. In the unlikely event that something doesn't fit, I can send it back.
So yeah. An opportunity to try a new look out. Maybe go emo.
Oh, coats as well. I could go for a new coat. The one I have is probably...eight years old. I like it but has a little tear near the pocket and a huge tear inside the other pocket. So your hand goes all the way through the pocket to the inner part of the coat. Not a big deal, really. Just adds pocket space, which is a bonus.
Still...a new coat might be good. I got that one at Zara. But maybe I can get something more upscale to befit my £900 for doing nothing lifestyle.
Wow. Looking at the Zara website...they have absolute garbage. How did I get this nice coat from there? I don't remember what I paid but it wasn't £50. Just about everything on here is £50 or less. FOR COATS! Or "jackets" as they call them. There doesn't seem to be a coat section. Maybe in the UK (or Spain) there's no distinction.
Oh, it took Google searching but this sort of looks like what I have:
https://www.zara.com/uk/en/lapel-collar-coat-p00706380.html?v1=7885821&v2=1181223
I like this one. Too bad it's only in light grey.
https://www.zara.com/uk/en/coat-with-asymmetrical-collar-p04213525.html?v1=8317641&v2=1181223
But yeah. I like the hidden buttons. My coat has that too, for all but one button. The next year, they came out with a model with all hidden buttons. Collar is pretty gay, though. The one I have doean't really have a collar at all. I like that as well.
I can get a Crombie coat for less than £1000. Maybe that's an idea. Unfortunately, all of the stores are in London. I'm not sure I want to get a coat, of any price, online.
Need work shirts too. And ties. Those are easy to get, though. You know your size, you just walk into the store and pick them up. Get four for £100 or so. Ties should be about £20. No need to get crazy on that stuff. But I should replace the shirts and ties I have now as they're falling apart.
So yeah. Maybe spend the money on clothes.
