I went to the inaugral event with my ladyfriend in 2008. It was great. Then the next year, they returned. Silver King wasn't at the first event but he was the big headliner for the second event. I believe that he took on El Hijo Del Santo in the main event. This second show was considerably less impressive than the previous year's outing and had far fewer people in the audience. Perhaps we went to a matinee show that second year, though.
Anyway, it seems that it's become an annual tradition to run these shows in London.
Here's the video, by the way.

So the comments all talk about what a shitty promotion it is and how the referee is an idiot and why was there no ringside doctor, et cetera. The nerd experts all want the promotion shut down.
It's an indy show. I believe that El Hijo Del Santo runs them. I wouldn't be surprised if Silver King was involved too.
That's the problem with the internet. It's full of outraged morons who don't know what they're talking about. I believe that Silver King was going to these shows for ten years. He probably had a management/promotion role. He was obviously happy with the way the events were run and was presumably making a fair amount of scratch. His family is going to sue his own production company for his death?
Maybe I'm wrong about all of this and he didn't have any stake in the company who was putting on these events. I'll reserve judgement because I don't have the information. I'm not going to go to every Youtube video and Reddit thread I can find and start blaming everyone for their incomptence, from the referee to the promoter (who very well may have been Silver King), to the entire nation of the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
People are really shitting on this referee. It's crazy how there are so many expert wrestling referees out there. I thought that it was kind of a niche profession. Why did this promotion hire this bum when they could have hired any of these outraged kids on Youtube instead?
The referee is motioning for Silver King to get up. He does a very slow three count. He probably should have known that something was wrong at this point but he doesn't check on him right away. He waits 75 seconds before checking on him. A medic (or somebody) comes in 20 seconds later.
So these outraged nerds are complaining about a 90 second delay for the medic to arrive. Would his life would have been saved if there was a competent medic attending to him 90 seconds earlier? I don't know.
If you want to get Earl Hebner to officiate your matches, get out your chequebook. This promotion (which Silver King may have have a management role in) decided to get a local referee. At a guess, I'd say that the referee was paid £50 for his services that night. That might be too high. He might have got nothing. How much does an indy referee make in the UK? I would not be surprised if people are doing it for "fun". You're certainly not making a full time living out of it.
It's unfortunate when you see how stupid and easily manipulated people are. They just move from one manufactured outrage to another.
These people don't know anything about Silver King or Lucha Libre in London. I'm not the world's biggest Silver King, but I'm familiar with his appearance in Fire Pro Wrestling D as a Spike add-on wrestler. He's also in most of the Fire Pro games as Black Tiger III. Also, I went to a Lucha Libre in London event and saw the man himself, live, in all his glory.
These outraged children literally have never even heard of the guy. They'll say this in their messages. They've never been to this annual London show. They know absolutely nothing about it. But they're all experts and can tell you who's to blame and who should be sued.
Anyway, Silver King, sorry to see you go. I'm sure that you lived an interesting life, you were doing a job you enjoyed, and you died of a sudden heart attack at age 51 while partaking in a stressful and physically demanding activity. These things happen.
