Took a nap. In the ninth and final season of the Smurfs, the Smurfs travel through time. That's where I was.
It was sort of a combination of Tom & Jerry and the Smurfs. I think that I was like Tom. I was looking for Jerry. But Jerry was also hanging out with the Smurfs. And Gargamel was looking for the Smurfs.
I was in Gargamel's house but it was also sort of the house of my mother's friend who had recently died in real life. I was running and hiding from Gargamel, like everyone else was, but then I thought, "Why am I running? I can take on a cartoon villian". So I hit Gargamel over the head with an axe and started dragging his corpse around. I was looking for a suitable place to hang him by his feet.
As I'm doing this, I'm calling out, "Smurfs! Jerry! Come out now!". I'm trying to assure them that it's safe now and we can go get the time crystals or whatever it was in the show. Azrael was helping me. After I killed Gargamel, Azrael became an ally.
So we're going from room to room. I get the feeling that we're making process. There are only so many rooms in the house, after all. As soon as the Smurfs and Jerry realise that they're safe, they'll come out.
Then we get to a big stack of...I don't know...sort of shelving that one would use for storing art prints. The shelves were light-weight and you'd pick them up. There was a hinge on the back.
I see that some of it is art that did as a child. I said earlier that the house was Gargamel's but also sort of my mother's friend who died recently. So suddenly my mother is there. I ask her why her friend has more of my childhood art than you do. My mother insists that she has art of mine as a child. I know that this is 100% a lie so I argue with her. My mother just continues with this blatent lie. This is what she does in real life too.
So I'm feeling really bad. Here I am a hero, I killed Gargamel, I freed the Smurfs and the mouse from Tom & Jerry, and my mother doesn't care and never cared about me. A total stranger kept more of my childhood art than my own mother.
I start seeing some of the Smurfs. So I say, "Okay, guys. Follow me. It's safe now. Let's find the rest of you and we can get out of here."
