Hi Rob. So Has the Belt on the HDI Actually broken, ?? Or is the Dealer just wanting Your invoice to help him sell the car. ?? I personally at this time would not send him any invoice as It sounds as though he is just trying to Make more money by saying that the car has full service history etc. ( One of Our car dealers that we do lots of work for change belts on every single car that they sell, Just to cover their own backs ) I would not Even talk to this Car dealer if he starts Blaming you for Losing him a sale on the vehicle, It's not your fault that some idiot lost his invoice. ?? Just tell him that Any warranty on the Job Has expired and is in no way transfereable And Due to it being out of warranty , You are not prepared to waste your time Raising copy invoices. P.S. I can't see how fitting a Belt kit on the Ford would have prevented the Crank pulley spinning. ?? Perhaps tightening the pulley nut might have helped. ?? ( waiting to be shot down in flames ). ? Can't you tell him that the Jockey pulley has collapsed. ??
