hi john i know we are supposed to check the vehicles according to vosa specs, but my brake kit now checks the brakes to vosa specs and in theory i do not have any input on brake effiency its all done automatically,so there shouldn't be any problems with the general public because it's all on computer for them to see,my kit does rear brake imbalance which can be a very good advise [you would be suprised how many brakes are 30%or 40% out of balance]uneven brake application,so now the brakes are checked properly so how much kit is there out there so old it shouldn't be used you should have gone the whole hog over a period of time it will pay for it's self.
