I would certainly agree regarding the shortage of skilled Technicians. The last time I advertised a job it took me just short of four months to get the right person. I had nine applicants altogether. I had one applicant from a Vauxhall dealer aged 33 years had all Qualifications looked a nice guy Good references I set him on a months trial, things went down hill from then on believe it or not he had never fitted a brake pipe since he was 21 years old, gave him a clutch to do on a pug 106 took all day then it wasnt right after all that. this type of problem lasted three days and I finished him. He then went to a Kia dealer and has been there 13 months. So if you think us independants have problems getting good staff. It must be the same for the dealers. Thats Life
