Louise managed to improve on her time from last year by 3 minutes doing it in 2 hours 13 minutes 56 seconds. I ran it in in 2 hours 1 minute 17 seconds, which was about 20 seconds quicker than last year. I would have liked to have done it in under 2 hours, but the warm temperature and a fast start took the energy out of my legs and the last mile seemed to take forever! Though at least there is still room for improvement.... It was a great day and knowing that if we got to the finish in time, we would see the Red Arrows display. Best of all though, was knowing that we will have raised over £550 for The Stroke Association and which the taxman will also donate another 28% on top of that. A big thanks to Mike, David, Dai and Harry for your kind support, we are both very, very grateful. We have updated our webpage on the JustGiving website with a picture taken after the run back at the B&B showing us with our medals. Note the picture was taken sevral hours afterwards and therefore my head is not red due to the exertion but the fact that the sun was shinning way too much!
