My PMS100 had a battery pack which was the size and shape of 4 c-cell batteries 2 above another 2.
The PMS100 states on the battery cover, a battery pack number (PM9086)or 4 x 1.5v Alkaline/NiCd c-Cell R14).
The unit is working perfectly well and now holds a charge.
