Hi Folks,

Yep, it's soon come round again :-(

This Sunday, Louise and I will be taking part in our 8th consecutive Great North Run. It will be our 6th time we will be raising money for Christies Hospital appeal in Manchester in their ongoing fight against cancer.

So we're putting our bodies through the pain again so you guys don't have to, so in exchange we are seeking lots of sponsorship…..

We've done the usual and set up a webpage on the JustGiving website so it makes it very easy (and secure) for you to make your donation (big or small) in support of us both. You can get to the page at the link below. We've included a "before" picture for your amusement and will put an "after" picture on there once we complete it (and get our medals of course). There are also links to details on Christies, the course map and my favourite, the time lapsed video of the course…..how I wish it was all over in 2 minutes rather than the 2 hours!

* Every two minutes someone else is diagnosed with cancer in the UK.
* More than 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime.
