When I was apprenticed in early 80's my bosses son tried the same thing . Had to pay 2 techs overtime to oversee work & offer foc help on Sundays, customers just paid for facilities by the hour. Jobs had to be completed so that ramps were available for proper work during the week.

Its a long time ago and I can't remember how long it lasted but it wasn't long!!
Bear in mind that health & safety and duty care of care etc was not that well developed then - it would be a legal minefield now!!
