I am sure opinions are divided, will we just see the money go out of the country and a sudden influx of cheap small foreign vehicles to meet demand

Do you haggle the price right down until the salesman is on his his knees, then tell him you want your 2 grand off as well?

Or do you tell them up front, with the salesman resisting any haggling on the showroom price?

Is this all smoke an mirrors, i am sure on some of the bigger more expensive vehicles they would probably give you more than 2 grand off anyway
