The retail on a pair of genuine handbrake cables for a VW transporter were half the price of my local factor. This made the factor trade price more than the VW retail. It's so easy to appear like you are overcharging the customer again.

I have now got to the stage where I wish the dealers had more deliveries, if they had, I would probably just use genuine parts as they usually fit correctly and don't fail like some of the rubbish that the factors sell.
