They tried to make it difficult to cancel the contract, they sent a rep out to cancel it but she tried to make us stop with them and hadn't got the relevant paperwork with her and told us that we had to cancel it in writing to their accounts dept.
We also had to pay the residual value on the Garments even though most were in a poor state of repair. ( Thats why you have to sign for replacement garments so that each time you sign, you are in a new contract for those garments. )
They Took a Payment out of my Account after the Contract was finally cancelled.
I Refused to allow them to collect their garments until I got my Money back. The Rep collecting the Garments told me that we had been refunded the money even though we hadn't. ( I did get it back eventually )
I never thought about keeping the Garments that we had to pay the residual value on.
The Rep collecting the garments was rather stroppy and even took the towel machine which was in good condition and threw it into the back of the van and said "That can go in the scrap".
Rather a Shabby and poor ending of a service from a So called Professional Company.
Surely they would be better off Ending the contract on a good note so that in the future they might get the custom back. ???
Whilst we were using their services I had no real complaints other than the condition of the Garments which are expected to last several years.
( easier to Buy your own for £20 and throw them away whenever you feel like it. )
If I wanted to sign up for a Contract in the future, Would i use Sunlight. ?? ( NO }
Tony.
