From the people i've spoken with its normally a simple task to change to B2 but believe me if you haven't got B2 then be prepared for a long drawn out process and hassle.
We've now got to submit external plans including road access all to scale and then internal plans of the unit includiing existing offices etc and the new aditional equipment we intend to install which again has to e rawn to scale.
The form has to be filled in as if its a new build. The joke of the matter is that the Council already have the external plan as they told me for £25 i can have one, not a problem but we now are left with finding someone willing to do the internal plans on CAD.
I've sort of got one the MOT equipment suppliers to assist but again the Council have most of he info required as a rent review was carried out late 2010 detailing exactly what was inside and this han't changed.
Talk about make life difficult. One of the equipment suppliers has been in the trade for 22 years and has changed use from B1 to B2 many times and has never known this to happen.
thanks
